Before it was a night, El Cartel was a meeting.
It started outdoors. Not in a club, and not around a musical strategy. It started from the wish to meet again and dance.

Mountains, open spaces, familiar places.
Techno arrived immediately, and over the years it became central. With it grew the search: sound, selection, artists, rig, the rhythm of the night.
We grew up watching the scenes that shaped European techno. El Cartel is not their local copy: it stays direct, physical, convivial.
Quality techno, no cult of hype. Room to actually dance.
What started almost by instinct became a conscious musical project — and it is still the most direct part of OBD.
